I was told that this item was placed onto the County Board agenda in a stealth manner. Unnoticed at the time. Well it is noticed now. It will be on the ballot of McHenry County voters.

2/5/2026 Joe Gottemoller responded the very next day: “None this the first I have ever heard of it”.
Mike Shorten has not responded yet. I also emailed County Board Chairman Michael Buehler on 2/7/2026.
Send email to your county board representatives so we can figure out who it was that put this in play.
