Paul Friedman, one of 4 Republican candidates for Congressional IL District 9, is a registered sex offender who is hoping Trump supporters believe in redemption.
In 1998 Paul Sanford Friedman was charged with misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct that occurred in Washtenaw County, Michigan. He plead no contest to avoid conviction then had his public records expunged. While the court records are no longer available the U.S. Justice Department website holds conviction information. Then he moved to North Carolina to live/ride out the storm and is on North Carolina Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry as pictured.
Friedman now resides in Chicago.
